Cottage by the lake, now that is a ideal week out with the kids, you get to enjoy the outdoors and still have the luxury of a roof over your head, rooms to sleep in with beds, some have electricity and indoor plumbing.

If you don’t really want to “rough it” a Cottage is the perfect choice, if you don’t own a cottage you can rent one from many cottage and cabin rental locations that are located in most camping areas.

Cottages come with 1, 2, 3 or more bedrooms, with some cottages you have access to such things as:

• Sea Kayaking and Canoe Rentals
• Sailboat & Motorboat rentals
• Hiking Tours
• Sandy beaches, some with lifeguards

Cottages are great when you have small kids or babies and you still want to spend time out in nature, but with most of the convinces of home.
