Camping Basics

So you decided to go on a camping trip or an a fishing trip, your excited the kids are excited – what next?

• Where are you going for the camping trip?
• What will you stay in?
• How many days are you going for?
• If you are going on a fishing trip, do you have all the fishing gear that you will need?
• Will you be fishing in a boat or from shore?
• What gear do you have, is it still good to use or does it need to be replaced?

A lot of these questions will go through your head and some are very important to the camping trips success or failure, you don't want to get to the fishing or camping location and find that some of your gear doesn't work, or you forgot some things, but hey it has happed to us all, but with a list you are more certain to have a camping or fishing trip that goes more smoothly and enjoy yourself to the fullest.

Nothing helps better than writing a list of things to check off as you prepare for the camping or fishing trip, which includes, but not limited to:

Now that you have your list, it is time to pack everything into the Car. Before you get on the road you need to get out the map and plan out the road trip, if it is a long trip you will need to plan for pit stops on the way. After the trip is mapped out, gather the kids together and hit the road.
